TheCitadelStore.com is owned and operated by McDaniel Cleveland Enterprises, LLC. McDaniel Cleveland Enterprises, LLC is the product of a decades-long friendship between Kenan Jones and Eric Doss. Kenan is a 2004 Clemson graduate, while Eric graduated from The Citadel in 2002.In late 2006, Eric found himself very frustrated. As a Citadel graduate living far from Charleston, he wanted to purchase officially licensed merchandise but found that the online selection was sparse. With another Citadel graduate advising their startup, Eric and Kenan began to assemble TheCitadelStore.com. TheCitadelStore.com opened for business on June 1, 2007.
